This is my review of the Portabook Laptop Stand, but the same probably applies for any portable laptop stand since they mostly work the same. There are probably lots of portable laptop desk stand things but the Portabook is the one as seen on TV and maybe at Walmart.

I am the type of person that takes my laptop everywhere that I go, it is a huge part of my life and there's not very many times throughout the day that I am without it. I even bring it to my doctors office so that I can be on it while I am waiting in the waiting room for them to call me back to a room. I bring it into the bed with me and I sometimes type on it, sometimes I watch a movie on it. I try to balance it on the bed with a piece of wood under it so that ti stays straight and doesn't overheat. Sometimes it gets hard to type if I am somewhere with the laptop sitting on my lap. That's why I was so glad when I found out about a product called a Portabook laptop stand.

Since I got the laptop stand it has been so much easier to keep my laptop with me and to use it in a comfortable position. I can't believe the difference this little stand makes. Even when I am in bed I can just set my laptop in the stand and surf the Internet, read, or even play games all while my laptop stays in a nice position right on my lap.

Now that I have the Portabook lap desk it is much easier for me to be online while I am in bed. I used to lean over it when I had it in my bed and now all I have to do is place it on my lap and I don't have to worry about it overheating from being on the bedding or about keeping a piece of wood that causes the occasional splinter in my bedding. I recommend this product for anyone that is as attached to their laptop as I am.

Giving 4 out of 5 stars because its not a miracle desk. It just works.
